CUPE Manitoba Convention Wraps Up

CUPE Manitoba adjourned their annual convention this past weekend, but not before taking a moment to honour CUPE Saskatchewan's President, who has served as a General Vice-President of CUPE since 2003.
Building on an excellent relationship between CUPE Manitoba and CUPE Saskatchewan, Graham has represented the interests of both Prairie provinces on the National Executive Board and Committee since his election to the position.
After months of plotting, The CUPE Manitoba Executive honoured Graham Scottish-style, with a new kilt in his family's tartan.
Unaware of the incoming kilt, National President Paul Moist--a Winnipeg-native and confirmed Blue Bomber fan--quipped at a microphone at the CUPE Sask. convention: "If I ever see Tom attend a convention in a kilt, I'll wear a Saskatchewan Roughrider shirt!"
